Runnin’ On The Treadmill – Redux
I’ve achieved a bit of a goal today: I’ve run a mile. Not all in one stretch, mind you, but a mile nonetheless.
My morning workout routine is to do 30 minutes on the treadmill. I do a run/walk. I walk at 3.6 mph, and run at 6 mph. During this mornings workout I was able to run for a mile in 1/8 mile increments. I know it doesn’t sound like much to the gym rats out there, but for a woman who has only resumed some kind of exercise after an 18 year break, I’ll take it.
Oh, and I’ve lost a total of 27 pounds so far, too.
