Thank you, Aaron!

On Saturday, July 4th, Aaron Fairbairn and another unidentified soldier were killed in Afghanistan by a suicide bomber who breached the base perimeter and exploded a truck bomb. Using Twitter to spread the news, Aaron’s stepfather created a stir when #thankyouaaron rose to the top of the charts for the day until being overtaken by some Wimbledon news.

If I could talk to Aaron and his fellow soldier, I would say thank you for giving your life to our country. You are true patriots, credits to your service, and have my personal gratitude for wearing the uniform.
